Process Mechanics/ Workholding Lab

The Process Mechanics/Workholding Lab supports the research and development of: a science base for manufacturing process-workholding systems; analytical models and computer-aided engineering software to support workholding system design; and advanced workholding technology.

Research carried out in this laboratory under the direction of Edward De Meter, professor of industrial engineering, has been supported by institutions such as: the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Standards and Technology, General Motors, Caterpillar, Delphi Automotive Systems, and Kodak. 

The lab is located in 241 Leonhard Building.
